LETTER FROM AMANDA MISSICK TO CHESHIRE HALL AND RICHMOND HILLS VOTERS.
Dear Cheshire Hall and Richmond Hills Residents,
I am writing to you because Our Government needs your help, we need your support, I need the same but also I NEED YOUR VOTE!
We can not leave this one to chance, we can not stay home and not vote. We need every single one of you who live in the Cheshire Hall and Richmond Hills area wether you live in Glass Shack, Thompson Cove, Richmond Hills, Kew Town, Stammer’s Run or any of the settlements to “STAY THE COURSE” go to the polls and return me AMANDA MISICK as your MP and the PNP as your government.
This bi-election is not the time to take chances, the challenges before us now are too great. What we need is immediate relief and long term solutions. We again have the opportunity to choose an economy that rewards work, creates new jobs and fuels our prosperity. We again have the opportunity to choose to protect and preserve affordable, quality healthcare for our families, better education for our children, and affordable energy for our future. We again have the opportunity to choose to have better paying jobs and have minimum wages changed to living wages that are based on the cost of living and inflation, I.e as the cost of living increase, wages should increase. This should also include fair and equal payment of gratuity regulated by law. Now is not the time to be silent. Your voice must be heard. You must be a part of this change and exercise your constitutional right to vote.
I have a work to do and my vision for you as a constituency is to continue on the foundation that has already been built; improved roads and drainage infrastructure in all areas of the constituency; increased awareness and performance of the waste disposal and management systems; strengthen the skills and knowledge of our entrepreneurs through training and workshops and provide safe and enriching recreation for our youth and elderly through the development of facilities and program’s like area parks and after-school programs and mentorship. Our Social Services must be RE-energised to ensure that our children are not going to school hungry and our women are not living in fear and suffering abuse and our families are not living below the poverty line.
So on March 22, 2013 take a stand, vote for progress and for our hardworking men and women to retire in comfort; vote for prosperity, financial independence and for the small business owner to keep his doors open; vote for enter education and higher learning and for the young professional to return home to a rewarding job with a decent pay; vote for readily available and quality healthcare for all; vote for me, Amanda Missick and the Progressive National Party.
We have had three (3) short months to set right and fix problems that have existed for 3 years and some longer, we have been met with a great deal of opposition and challenges for a new government.
This government is fighting hard for you, I am fighting hard for you, I humbly ask you to “STAY THE COURSE” return me as your MP for Cheshire Hall and Richmond Hills and the PNP as your government of the Turks and Caicos Islands. I am counting on you the good people of Cheshire Hall and Richmond Hills but more importantly your government is counting on you, your country is counting on you.
Stay the course TCI because help is here.
Your Humble Servant
